On Saturday 5th March 2005 eight members of the NorthWest Chapter of the Fellowship of First Fleeters visited Norfolk Island, along with over 30 other First Fleet members from all over NSW and Queensland to celebrate Founders Day with the local inhabitants on 6th March.
This is the day, in 1788 when Norfolk Island was first settled to provide food for the new colony established in Sydney NSW on 26th January 1788.
The members of the Fellowship of First Fleeters, particually my son Geoffrey and myself had a great week on that lovely Island. We hope you like the photos we took.
